The registry is maintained by the {{ill|Taiwan Network Information Center|zh|台灣網路資訊中心}} (TWNIC), a Taiwanese non-profit organization appointed by the [[National Communications Commission]] (NCC) and the [[Ministry of Transportation and Communications (Taiwan)|Ministry of Transportation and Communication]].
