And-Jëf/PADS was founded in 1991, through the merger of [[And-Jëf / Revolutionary Movement for New Democracy]], [[Socialist Workers Organisation (Senegal)|Socialist Workers Organisation]], [[Union for People's Democracy]] and circle of readers of [[Suxuba]].
