It is in [[Greasley]] [[civil parishes in England|parish]]. [[Beauvale Charterhouse|Beauvale Priory]] is the remains of a [[Carthusian]] monastery, or [[List of Carthusian monasteries|Charterhouse]], founded in 1343 by Nicholas de Cantilupe.
