They were brought to Leverett's smithy, repaired, and subsequently used by the American forces. At the smithy, Hager repaired firearms and prepared ammunition. Hager married John Pratt on July 22, 1787, in [[Newton, Massachusetts|Newton]], [[Massachusetts]].
