The company was founded as Sendinblue in 2012. The software of the same name allowed for the creation of email newsletters and transactional emails. Initially, it was only available in French.
In 2013, English and Spanish versions as well as [[SMS]] services became available, followed in 2014 by Portuguese and Italian versions. 2015 saw the opening of the Seattle office and the launch of a German version. In 2016, Sendinblue launched its marketing automation platform.
