== Career ==
Prior to entering politics, Johnson served as assistant superintendent of the Tooele County School District. Since 2011, he has been the director of Edith Bowen Laboratory School in [[Utah State University]]. He was elected to the [[Utah House of Representatives]] in November 2020 and assumed office on January 2, 2019.<ref>{{Cite web|title=Dan Johnson (Utah)|url=https://ballotpedia.org/Dan_Johnson_(Utah)|access-date=2021-06-24|website=Ballotpedia|language=en}}</ref> Johnson served as an educator for over 49 years, and for 42 of those years he was an administrator.
