'''Dyslalia''' is the incapacity to produce speech [[Phonetics|phonetically]] correctly in a language based on articulation organ anatomy disorders, without [[Neurological disorder|neurological disorders]], and without [[Hearing loss|hearing disorders]]. The impairment is brought on by incorrect lessons learned during the speaking process, but neither the condition of the central nor peripheral nervous systems is abnormal. Dyslalia is more common in boys than in girls, with greater evidence of the condition in boys between the ages of five and seven.<ref name="López-Hernández"/>
