'''Matejče''' ({{langx|mk|Матејче}}; {{Langx|sq|Mateç}}) is a [[village]] in the [[Municipalities of North Macedonia|municipality]] of [[Lipkovo Municipality|Lipkovo]], [[North Macedonia]]. The village is known for the Orthodox [[Matejče Monastery|Monastery of the Most Holy Mother of God]], in the [[Skopska Crna Gora]], at a height of 1005 metres, which was built in the 14th century.
==Demographics==
According to the statistics of the [[Bulgarians|Bulgarian]] ethnographer [[Vasil Kanchov]] from 1900, 400 inhabitants lived in the village of Matejče, of which 536 were [[Albanians]], 52 [[Romani people|Romani]] and 50 [[Bulgarians]].<ref>[http://macedonia.kroraina.com/vk/index.html Vasil Kanchov.
