Moesin (for membrane-organizing extension spike protein) is a member of the [[ERM protein family]] which includes [[ezrin]] and [[radixin]]. ERM proteins appear to function as cross-linkers between [[plasma membrane]]s and [[actin]]-based [[cytoskeleton]]s.<ref name=EG/>
