==Geography==
Plavy is located about {{convert|10|km|0}} east of [[Jablonec nad Nisou]] and {{convert|18|km|abbr=on}} east of [[Liberec]]. It lies mostly in the [[Giant Mountains Foothills]], only a small part of the municipal territory in the northwest extends into the [[Jizera Mountains]]. The highest point is at {{convert|580|m|ft|abbr=on}} above sea level. The [[Kamenice (Jizera)|Kamenice]] River flows through the municipality.

Plavy is poor in monuments.
