Its native range stretches from [[Indo-China]] to north-eastern Australia. It is found in the Andaman Islands, Borneo, Jawa, Lesser Sunda Islands, Malaya, Myanmar, New Guinea, Nicobar Islands, Philippines, [[Queensland]] (state in Australia), Sumatera, Thailand and Vietnam.<ref name="POWO"/>
