San Marino has participated in the [[Junior Eurovision Song Contest]] four times since its debut in the {{Escyr|2013|Junior}} contest in [[Kyiv]], [[Ukraine]]. The Sammarinese participant broadcaster in the contest is {{lang|it|[[San Marino RTV|Radiotelevisione della Repubblica di San Marino]]|i=no}} (SMRTV). The country consecutively participated between {{Escyr|2013|Junior}} and {{Escyr|2015|Junior}}, securing its best placing on its debut with a tenth place finish. Following a nine-year absence after the [[Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015|2015 contest]], SMRTV returned to the contest in {{Escyr|2024|Junior}} in [[Madrid]], [[Spain]].

{{lang|it|[[San Marino RTV|Radiotelevisione della Repubblica di San Marino]]|i=no}} (SMRTV) is a full member of the [[European Broadcasting Union]] (EBU), thus eligible to participate in the [[Junior Eurovision Song Contest]].
SMRTV attempted to participate in the contest in {{Escyr|2011|Junior}} in [[Yerevan]], [[Armenia]].
