In 1794, [[Tadeusz Kościuszko]], a veteran of the [[Continental Army]] in the [[American Revolutionary War]], and Jean Lapierre return to the [[Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth]] to organize [[Kościuszko Uprising|an uprising]] against the [[Russian Empire]] and [[Kingdom of Prussia]].
