The [[population density]] was 7.8 people per square mile (3.0/km{{sup|2}}). There were 117 housing units at an average density of 3.0/sq&nbsp;mi (1.2/km{{sup|2}}). The racial makeup of the township was 96.04% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.99% [[African American (U.S. Census)|Black]] or [[Race (United States Census)|African American]], none [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], none [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], none [[Pacific Islander (U.S. Census)|Pacific Islander]], 2.97% from other races. [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race were 3.30% of the population.
There were 112 households, out of which 33.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 75.0% were [[Marriage|married couples]] living together, 0.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 23.2% were non-families. 18.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 9.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
