'''Suhaia''' is a [[communes of Romania|commune]] in [[Teleorman County]], [[Muntenia]], [[Romania]]. It is composed of a single village, Suhaia, but also included the village of [[Fântânele, Teleorman|Fântânele]] until 2004, when it was split off to form a separate commune.
The commune is situated at the southern edge of the [[Wallachian Plain]], where the river [[Călmățui (Teleorman)|Călmățui]] discharges into the [[Danube]]. It is located in the southern part of Teleorman County, {{cvt|13|km}} northwest of [[Zimnicea]], a port town on the Danube, and {{cvt|40|km}} south of the county seat, [[Alexandria, Romania|Alexandria]].
