The architecture of the Complex of Huế Monuments is based on the North and the South in compass, which have three rounds: the outside one is the wall, the middle is the imperial citadel, and the imperial palace is in the center. The natural geographic composition of a pair of river and mountain is a significant regional feature of the site from Northern to the Southern of Vietnam.
