'''Velenka''' is a municipality and village in [[Nymburk District]] in the [[Central Bohemian Region]] of the [[Czech Republic]]. It has about 400 inhabitants.
==Geography==
Velenka is located about {{convert|11|km|0}} southwest of [[Nymburk]] and {{convert|25|km|abbr=on}} east of [[Prague]]. It lies in a flat landscape in the [[Central Elbe Table]].
==History==
The first written mention of Velenka is from 1352, when it belonged to the [[Poděbrady]] estate.
