If you look at the syllabus of the opinion on Justia.com, or read Justice Black's opinion for the majority, you'll see that the Court did not rule that the military tribunals in Hawaii were unconstitutional. Instead, the Court reversed Duncan's conviction on statutory grounds, holding that the Hawaiian Organic Act didn't authorize military tribunals.
