Attulus caricis is a species of spider in the family Salticidae (jumping spiders). It has a Palearctic distribution,[1] including Britain.[2] Until 2017, it was placed in the genus Sitticus.[1]
Description
Both males and females have a body length of around 3–4 mm (1⁄8–3⁄16 in), males having smaller abdomens. Like other species in the genus, the basic body colour is dull brown or dark grey. Markings vary, with some specimens having orange and white hairs.[3]
Distribution
Attulus caricis is found in Europe, Turkey, the Caucasus, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Mongolia.[1]
