Vexillum oleaceum, commonly known as the olive-like mitre, is a species of small sea snail, marine gastropod mollusk in the family Costellariidae, the ribbed miters.[1]
Description
The length of the shell attains 23.8 mm. (Original description) The shell is oblong-ovate, Buccinum-shaped, with a short spire. The whorls are convex, smooth and covered with a shining olive-brown horny epidermis.[2]
Distribution
This marine species occurs off the Philippines and Papua New Guinea.
