On 11 May 2023, a man suddenly opened fire in a Mercedes-Benz factory in Sindelfingen, a city near Stuttgart, Germany, killing two people.[1] The perpetrator, a 53-year-old man, has been taken into custody.[2] Police tweeted that there was no further danger to employees at the plant.[3] Information about the suspect's motive was not immediately available.[4]
