Zapora [zaˈpɔra] (formerly Mylof) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Czersk, within Chojnice County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 18 kilometres (11 mi) west of Czersk, 14 km (9 mi) north-east of Chojnice, and 89 km (55 mi) south-west of the regional capital Gdańsk. On January 29, 1951, the name Mylof was officially changed to Zapora. For details of the history of the region, see History of Pomerania.
