Emerson Lake is a dry lake bed in the Mojave Desert of San Bernardino County, California, 66 km (41 mi) northeast of Joshua Tree. The lake is approximately 6 km (3.7 mi) long and 4.5 km (2.8 mi) at its widest point. Emerson Lake is on federal lands within the borders of the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, west of Hildago Mountain.
