Amber is a rural locality in the Shire of Mareeba, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2021 census, Amber had "no people or a very low population".[1]

Geography

The Lynd River forms a small part of the southern boundary before flowing through from south to north.[3] The terrain is undulating and there are a number of mountains in the locality:

The land use is grazing on native vegetation.[13]
