Bodo (hypostrategos)

Bodo (Punic: š¤‬š¤ƒš¤€‬, BDŹ¾,[1] "His Servant" or "In His Hand")[2] also known as Boƶdes (Ancient Greek: Ī’ĪæĻŽĪ“Ī·Ļ‚, Boį¹“dēs),[2] was a Carthaginian senator and naval officer (hypostrategos) who served during the First Punic War. He commanded a successful expedition to Lipara where he captured the Roman consul Gn. Cornelius Scipio Asina.[3]
