This category includes those women's basketball players who were first-team, second-team or third-team for one or more of the major Division I NCAA Women's Basketball All-America teams (or the AIAW teams prior to 1982). This includes those players who were All-Americans as recognized by the Associated Press, the Women's Basketball Coaches Association and the United States Basketball Writers Association; it does not include those players who received fourth- or fifth-team or honorable mention All-American recognition. Please do not add players to this category unless a verifiable, reliable source exists for the player's first-, second- or third-team All-American honors per WP:V and WP:RS.
