This category should be used for Americans who are notable only or primarily for their work as a television actor. If an American actor is notable for more than just television acting, then a stub article about them should use {{US-screen-actor-1920s-stub}} or {{US-actor-stub}} instead. The perfect article about an actor gives both a (possibly short) biography and a list of performances. Also, appropriate categories should be added, especially Category:American television actors.
