This category is for places in Quebec that have the legal status of Inuit reserved land (terre réservée inuite, code=TI), also known as "Category 1 land for Inuit" (terre de catégorie I pour les Inuits), as defined by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs, Regions and Land Occupancy and relevant legislation. These are for exclusive use of Inuit communities north of the 55th parallel, for hunting or other economic activities. None of them have any resident population (as of the Canada 2011 Census and previous censuses). In practice, all of them share a name with a nearby counterpart northern village (inhabited Inuit community).
