An old group of plain-trick games named after Karnöffel, the oldest European card game still played in some forms today. These games are characterised by a wildly disturbed ranking in the chosen suit or suits and by the special role of the chosen Seven. As well as those listed, the family also includes Russian Bruzbart or Dulya, Livonian Brusbart, Polish Druzbart and Greenlandic Voormsi. More distant cousins include Faroese Styrivoltur and Schleswig Knüffeln.
