João Henrique Mendes da Silva (born 28 February 2006), commonly known as Esquerdinha is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a left-back for EFL Championship club Queens Park Rangers.
Club career
Esquerdinha played for Fluminense's youth setup since the age of nine.[1] On 24 March 2022 he signed his first professional contract with the club until 2026.[2] On 26 May 2023 he made his competitive debut in a 0–1 defeat against The Strongest in the Copa Libertadores.[3] In February 2025, Esquerdinha transferred to Queens Park Rangers.[4][5]
International career
Esquerdinha played for Brazil under-17 team in 2022.
