Guillotine is the debut studio album by Australian indie rock band British India, released on 30 June 2007 by independent label Flashpoint Music and distributed by Shock Records. The album was supported by three singles; "Black & White Radio", "Tie Up My Hands" and "Run the Red Light", Following its release, Guillotine received critical acclaim, earning the album multiple nominations and winning British India its first music award. The album was selected as Triple J's 'Feature Album' and also reached #4 on the AIR Charts for the month of July. At the 2007 J Awards in December, Guillotine was nominated for 'Australian Album of the Year' award.[1] In that same week British India performed live at the AIR Awards, where they won an award for 'Best Independent Artist'.
