Homer Township is located in Will County, Illinois. As of the 2010 census, its population was 39,059 and it contained 13,418 housing units.[2] In 2001, the village of Homer Glen was incorporated within area that is Homer Township. This region was formerly an unincorporated census-designated place known as Goodings Grove, Illinois.
Geography
According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 36.1 square miles (93 km2), of which 36.06 square miles (93.4 km2) (or 99.89%) is land and 0.05 square miles (0.13 km2) (or 0.14%) is water.[2]
