Irai (French pronunciation: [iʁɛ] ) is a commune in the Orne department in north-western France.
Geography
The Commune along with another 70 communes shares part of a 47,681 hectare, Natura 2000 conservation area, called the Forêts et étangs du Perche.[2]
Notable people
- Chrétien-Siméon Le Prévost d'Iray - (1768 – 1849) a writer of comedies and vaudevilles, born, died and was buried here.[3][4]
