Live is the first live album by American blues rock band George Thorogood & the Destroyers. It was released in 1986 by the label EMI America Records.[1][2] The album was recorded on May 23, 1986 at the Cincinnati Gardens, Ohio.[3] Live is one of the Destroyers' best-selling albums, selling more than one million copies.[4] The album is also one of the Destroyers' best performing, peaking at No. 33 on the Billboard 200 chart,[5] and spending 42 weeks on the chart.[6]

Release

EMI America released Live in August 1986.[2] The album debuted at No. 81,[7] and peaked at No. 33 on the Billboard 200 chart.[5] The album was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on April 19, 1995.[8]

"Reelin' and Rockin'" was released as the only single from the album,[12] it peaked at No. 11 on the Mainstream Rock chart.[13]
