Description
The length of the shell attains 5.5 mm, its diameter 5 mm. (Original description in Latin) The shell is imperforate and elevated-conical in shape, regularly marked with roughened oblique ribs. It is horn-colored, adorned with chestnut spots, and features a slightly pointed, flattened protoconch. There are 5½ flattened whorls, with the body whorl keeled. The base is nearly smooth and slightly impressed, faintly marked by growth lines and spirals, with an impressed suture. The aperture is rhomboidal, with a sharp right margin and a thickened columellar margin, often equipped with a inconspicuous, whitish tooth. [3]
