Pełty [ˈpɛu̯tɨ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Pieniężno, within Braniewo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) north-east of Pieniężno, 31 km (19 mi) south-east of Braniewo, and 56 km (35 mi) north of the regional capital Olsztyn. Before 1772 the area was part of Kingdom of Poland, and in 1772–1945 it belonged to Prussia and Germany (East Prussia).
