Spectacle Island (Maine)

Spectacle Island is a privately owned island off Bar Harbor, Maine, United States.^[1]^[2]^[3] It is 4 acres (1.6 ha),^[1] and it is owned by Ashley Longmaid.^[2] As of 2012^[update], it is the world's ninth most expensive island^[1] and is part of the Town of Winter Harbor.
