Usage

This template creates a {{cite web}} reference to a place name in the Land Information New Zealand Geographic Placenames Database. Expected usage would be between <ref>...</ref> tags.

{{LINZ|id=number|name=|access-date=January 2025}}

All parameters are optional, as are parameter names. Name defaults to PAGENAME. Placenames can be searched here. The id is the numbers at the end of the URL, for example the id for Auckland is 54693.
