Creates a category of the form "nationality television series debuts by year" or "nationality television series endings by year", where nationality is a valid nationality. The template detects whether it is being used on a "debuts" or "endings" category, and adjusts its output to suit. e.g.
- Category:Japanese television series debuts by year Green tick
- Category:Irish television series endings by year Green tick
- Category:Mexican television series debuts by year Green tick
It is not for use on other categories, e.g.
- Category:New Zealand television series debuts Red X
- Category:Spanish television series endings Red X
- Category:1996 Italian television series debuts Red X
- Category:1970s Irish television series debuts Red X
- Category:1969 American television series endings Red X

If the template is used on an invalid page, an error message is generated and the page is categorised in:
Errors include:
- The page is not in the category namespace
- The page's title does not take the form "nationality television series debuts by year" or "nationality television series endings by year"
- The value of "nationality" does not correspond to a country name. The conversion is made using {{GetCountryNameFromAdjective}}, so the problem may be a glitch in that template's lookup table
