Usage

In most cases, where the Wikipedia article is matched to a Wikidata item which holds the Observation.org taxon ID, use:

{{Observation.org taxon}}

Otherwise, say on the page Asian hornet, the wikicode:

{{Observation.org taxon|8807}}

will render as:

Asian hornet at Observation.org

Placed anywhere the wikicode:

{{Observation.org taxon|8807|Vespa velutina}}

renders as:

Vespa velutina at Observation.org

Parameters

1. Numerical species ID from Observation.org URL (e.g. for https://observation.org/species/8807/ enter 8807) — defaults to ID from Wikidata if connected; can be overridden with an alternative value
2. Name to display — defaults to page name
