This template is designed for use on disambiguation pages which only contain links to articles for distinct geographical locations with the same name. It displays a notice on the page and includes it in Category:Place name disambiguation pages (a subcategory of Category:Disambiguation pages). It is similar in function to Template:Disambiguation which is used on general purpose disambiguation pages.

Usage

• For a disambiguation page containing only geographical location names, such as Mechanicsburg, Ohio, and Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, add:

• For a disambiguation page containing multiple geographical location names and other entries, such as California (disambiguation), New York (disambiguation) and Orange County add:
