{{Wikipedia:WikiProject Film/Sidebar}} The {{WikiProject Film}} project banner template should be added (never subst:ed) to the talk page of every article within the scope of the project. While the template does not require any additional parameters, it has a number of optional ones that add various extra features to the banner.

• listas – a sortkey to produce a correct ordering of pages within a category, e.g. for The Fifth Element set |listas=Fifth Element, The
• needs-image - set |needs-image=yes if the article needs an image, such as a poster or on-set photo
• needs-infobox – set |needs-infobox=yes if the article needs an infobox, e.g. {{Infobox film}}

National and Regional task forces

• American – set |American=yes if the article is supported by the American cinema task force
• Argentine – set |Argentine=yes if the article is supported by the Argentine cinema task force
• Australian – set |Australian=yes if the article is supported by the Australian cinema task force
• Baltic – set |Baltic=yes if the article is supported by the Baltic cinema task force
• Belgian – set |Belgian=yes if the article is supported by the Belgian cinema task force
• British – set |British=yes if the article is supported by the British cinema task force

To avoid needlessly cluttering up talk pages, it is usually appropriate to remove any unused parameters from the template.
