Caryocolum petryi is a moth of the family Gelechiidae. It is found in France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia, former Yugoslavia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden and Finland.[2] It is also found in Mongolia and Siberia (Tuva).[3] The length of the forewings is 4–7 mm for males and 4–6 mm for females.[4] Adults have been recorded on wing from late June to early September.
