Cinderella Game (Korean: 신데렐라 게임) is an ongoing South Korean television series starring Na Young-hee, Han Groo, Choi Sang, Ji Soo-won, Kim Hye-ok, Choi Jong-hwan, Park Ri-won, and Kwon Do-hyung. It is about a woman who was raised by her enemy and realizes the meaning of revenge and grows up. It premiered on KBS2 on December 2, 2024, and airs every Monday to Friday at 19:50 (KST).

Synopsis

Cinderella Game tells the story of Goo Ha-na, a woman who suddenly becomes the heiress of a family from an orphanage like Cinderella one day, who realizes that everything was planned by her enemy and becomes the incarnation of revenge.

The president of Hyesung Group, who is respected by many people for her warm and humane appearance, but is actually a cold-blooded person who doesn't shed a single drop of blood when stabbed. She has been leading the group while harboring the pain and wounds of losing her daughter 20 years ago, decides to use Ha-na, a low-level employee of Hyesung Tour.
A passionate virgin head of the family full of vitality and responsibility. She is reborn as an incarnation of revenge after learning that she was used as a fake daughter in the role of an icon of sacrifice.
The president of Hyesung Tour, a subsidiary of Hyesung Group, who has raised the company to second place in the industry despite his young age and is trusted by people.

Production

Development

Cinderella Game is written by Oh Sang-hee, who previously wrote Gracious Revenge (2019–2020) and directed by Lee Hyun-kyung, who previously directed Nothing Uncovered (2024). It is produced by Miracle K Story and Jidam Media.[9]

Casting

Na Young-hee, Ji Soo-won, Kim Hye-ok, and Choi Jong-hwan had confirmed their appearances in the series on October 30, 2024.[2] On the same day, actress Han Groo is reported to appear as the lead as reported by Joy News 24.[10] The next day, Han, Choi Sang, Park Ri-won, and Kwon Do-hyung had been confirmed to appear as the main characters.[3]

Release

Cinderella Game was scheduled to premiere on KBS2 on December 2, 2024, and would air every Monday to Friday at 19:50 (KST).[11]
