Cunninghamites elegans is an extinct conifer species in the family Cupressaceae and the genus Cunninghamites. Cunninghamites is a genus of the European Late Cretaceous flora.[2] Remains of C. elegans needles have been found in the carcasses of the dinosaur Edmontosaurus.
