Mecistocephalus hebrides is a species of centipede in the Mecistocephalidae family. It was described in 1944 by American myriapodologist Ralph Vary Chamberlin.[1][2]
Description
This species is brownish, can reach about 62 mm in length, and has 49 pairs of legs.[1]
Distribution
The species occurs in Vanuatu. The type locality is Hog Harbour on the island of Espiritu Santo.[2]
