Nagaon Railway Station (Station Code: NGAN) is a railway station located in the Nagaon district of Assam, India. In earlier times, it was known as Nowgong Railway Station.[1] It is part of the Northeast Frontier Railway zone.[2]
Location
Nagaon Railway Station, located in the heart of Nagaon town, offers convenient access and connects Assam, being 123 kilometers from Guwahati.[2]
Train services
Many trains pass through Nagaon Railway Station daily, with none originating or terminating here. Notable stops include the Silghat DEMU,[3] Silghat – Tambaram Express,[4][5] Kaziranga Express,[6] and Rajya Rani Express.[7]
