Nowa Kamienica [ˈnɔva kamjɛˈnit͡sa] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Stara Kamienica, within Jelenia Góra County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) north-west of Stara Kamienica, 15 km (9 mi) west of Jelenia Góra, and 108 km (67 mi) west of the regional capital Wrocław. The name of the village is of Polish origin and is derived from the word kamień, which means "stone".[2]
