Ranade is a family name, common among the Chitpavan Brahmin community in Western Maharashtra, India.[1] Ranade family originated from Bhatgaon, Guhagar Ratnagiri.[2] Each year Ranade family celebrates Mahashivratri utsav at Asud , Vyaghreshwar Near Dapoli, Ratnagiri [3].
