Roy G. Saltman[1] (July 15, 1932 – April 21, 2023) was an American electrical engineer. He was known for being the United States Federal Government leading expert on computerized voting.
Life and career
Saltman was born in Manhattan.[2] He attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Columbia University and the American University.[3] Saltman was a computer security specialist at the National Institute of Standards and Technology.[4] Saltman died on April 21,[5] 2023 in Rockville, Maryland, at the age of 90.[6]
